This was a very easy med for me.

I don't know what your response will be. Just wanted to let you know it isn't always bad.

This is my favorite med. I feel GREAT on this one. I'll be taking it very soon again.

The herx was intense!! Same with albenzadole ... I felt very fluish, achey all over , sleepy , and had sore lymph nodes for 2 mos . And I always took it every other day .
These 2 meds hit me HARD , just like ABX did at first , which convinces me that lyme probably has a parasitical component .

I took some yesterday. Felt a bit dizzy about an hour after taking it but then felt pretty good. Was able to go to work and go for a long walk sort of good.

Then later that evening I started feeling flu like sick w/ body pain and headache and ear issues.

This morning still have some lingering flu like symptoms but not as bad as yesterday. I would call it a mild and tolerable herx for me.

How are you feeling today?

I felt like I had the flu the first two days, with overall body aching in my muscles and joints. Then it was up hill all the way.

After two months, it began to give me headaches and blood shot eyes but I was taking it everyday. I think it might be best (in my case anyway) to pulse it.

I continued to take it when I was symptom free because I thought PR was like babesia (and malaria) and "IN" the red blood cells so I should take the ivermectin everyday for five months until I had a complete red blood cell turnover.

That is probably why I began to be sensitive to it - taking too much when I should have pulled back. PR is a big parasite and it does not get into cells.
