He is doing a segment on Lyme disease today. I really don't watch his show but will see what he has to say.

Yes thanks, I am glad I didn't miss it. I hope he does not quote the CDC. There will probably be the opportunity for feed back.

Unfortunately, I think Dr. Oz is still stuck in his medically trained belief system. But the guy does think outside the box sometimes (let's hope). Thanks for telling us Bigstan (I'll watch it). :)

I'm confused because his website says today's show is called "Rapid Belly Melt".

Sometimes he covers many topics in the same show...like Dr Phil often does.

So it may be about Lyme also. They may be using the belly fat thing as a lead-in since "that is A WAY MORE IMPORTANT ISSUE!"

The description from my cable guide says:

"Dr. Oz's Rapid Belly Melt. Flattening the stomach; an anti-allergy diet; headache triggers; Lyme disease; gallstones."

With so many topics in one show, it may not get much air time.

Good!!

HA!!! He said that even if you get treatment YEARS after the bite, it will still be effective!! The IDSA is not going to like that!

The downside:

He showed a graphic that made you think you had to have a rash to have it. Didn't SAY that, but it was implied.

Dr Oz "Lyme is on the climb"

Good quote. I think he did a good job with the show. He described it well.

"He said that even if you get treatment YEARS after the bite, it will still be effective!!"

Yea that part was weak.

Well... my take on it is that long term treatment will work... but he didn't exactly say that either!

The IDSA says it will not work.
