When I was on Rifampin and Mino, I had slightly elevated levels for my BUN and BUN/Creatine Ratios and she claimed it was not too high and that I was fine.

Well, I have been off the Rifampin and Mino for 3 weeks now. I have been on Diflucan for 1.5 weeks. My BUN and BUN/Creatine is still "high" and now it says my Ast (Sgot) is high as well.

Should I stop the Diflucan. Keep in mind she has no idea I stopped my antibiotics and started the Diflucan.

The candida diet which I have been very strict on has been working wonders for me. My mind is so much more clear and my energy has gone up like crazy. It is my goal to never ever take an antibiotic again. And now I am worried the meds she gave me did permanent damage or the Diflucan is just keeping things the same/making things worse. I know it is hard on the liver, but I know yeast/mold is my problem and I should have trusted my instincts a long time ago. I was also not planning on going back to her, but now I don't know what to do.

I pulse my Diflucan or else my liver e.'s get high.

Long half life so my llmd said okay to take every other to 2 days. Still works well for me as a pulse and my liver is happy.

When my liver e.'s were high from abx.'s, I stopped all meds until liver function was back to normal.

Are you doing/taking any liver support?

Stop the diflucan, for now,and take some liver support. Most recommend some Milk Thistle/Slymarin is the active ingredient and helps regrow liver cells.
