I am looking for the best replacement for ReMag... Apparently, about a year ago they changed their ascorbic acid preservative to one made from mountain ash berries.

Starting in January my SED rate started escalating (last check was 104, normal is < 20) as did my fatigue and pain. I have seasonal allergies to mountain ash, but it took me a really long time to put the two together.

I've stopped taking it and am just taking magnesium optimizer from Jarrow which I basically take as a sleep aid. The ReMag worked great for me!

I will know in about a month when they recheck if that was the culprit. But in the meantime... I'm getting a bit of muscle pain and cramping and would like to replace it with a good solid, trusted magnesium.

I've kind of spiraling down hill... Of course I think Lyme is back... Wouldn't it be nice if this is the culprit, and I've discovered it!

You could try Trace Minerals Mega Mag.

I thought ReMag now contained neomycin or something like that? I didn't know it was mountain ash berries.

You could also get NAET treatment for your allergy (either to mountain ash, or simply to ReMag).

I use mag glycinate from metagenics. Gentle on the stomach.

Thanks guys. Tutu, I don't see that listed. It says non-gmo sorbic acid (100% natural, derived from non gmo mountain ash tree berries) I think I'll try the trace minerals as I can get it locally...

On patch tests mountain ash ( I assume pollen) responded instantly and huge. I am hoping this is why I've felt so bad and my inflammation went through the roof... Not sure about timing if they changed it a year ago... All I can think is I had bought two bottles before the change and just started using in January.
