I haven't heard of mag oxide. does that help differeent things than the other types?

It helps soften your stool if you are constipated. It's a cheap form of magnesium and is not well absorbed by the body. I would not recommended using it, unless you are constipated.

That is the most common form .. but perhaps not the preferred one if you want the mag to get into your cells.

It does work for some people, however. I know some on the mag site who make mag water and sip it all day. I think they add bicarbonate for absorption.
