Hey everyone!

This is kind of weird, I guess. But has anyone ever experienced fatigue combined with an itchy back of the neck?

I've been itching on and off along the hairline across the back of my neck.

There are no marks that I can see, no rashes, no bumps, etc.

A few days before the itching started (maybe even a week before), I got 2 mosquito bites side by side on the top of my right shoulder.

Those bites healed quickly and didn't even itch much themselves.

No idea if this can be related.

Nothing has changed in terms of hair products, skin products, detergent, etc.

I've also been stressed.

And, have started a mild/dry cough that only pops up occasionally.

I'd read that mosquitoes can transmit parasites, which makes my skin crawl all on its own.....that would be my luck.

Any ideas about this?

Things to check: Candida is one possibility and so is Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.

Thank you, Lymetoo! I have had issues with candida, although not in over a year.

But I know how that loves to come back.

I'll look up Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.

Just looked up MCAS and really hope that's not what this all about. Geez.

I can't find if it can be treated ... and if so ... how.

Hopefully, that isn't what I'm dealing with. I have enough issues....lol! [Smile]

I wonder if I should take some fluconazole and see if it helps ... in case this is candida.

MCAS is very treatable. About 25% of all lyme patients get it.

Also, it should go away when you get rid of your lyme and coinfections.

Some resources re MCAS:

Always lets me know when nods are swelling.
