After being on high dose doxycycline for many years, my LLMD prescribed me to take 600mg of Omnicef. What's the consensus on this drug? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks eckoro.just got a script for ceftin ..meant to ask for omni but mixed for ceftin..i remember dr b pulsing with this to get his remission

I had Omnicef rotated into my protocols several times early in treatment years. Now I'm pulsing Ceftin and Bactrim DS.
I've heard that some LLMDs will Rx Omnicef following a course of IV Rocephin because it work very similar.
I have no opinion on the effectiveness of either one over the other after many many years of treatment.
