Does anyone know how a pregnant woman with babicia is treated? Right now the major concern is air hunger.

Also, has anyone treated with rife during pregnancy?

Babesia??

You may want to check the archives here. I'll try to take a look for you also.

There is also a Rife group you could ask about rifing during pregnancy if no one comes up with an answer for you.

Lexi's Mom, I just did a search with the word pregnancy and there are 1000 posts that pop up for you to read.

You can scan down thru the thread topic and get to the babesia threads to read.

Let me know if you need more help getting to the search feature on this site. On this site you will note that LLMDs names are initials only.

I really think the pregnancy and rife posts are not going to be here.

Just did search on pregnancy and rife. Three threads and everyone that posted said no to rife during pregnancy. It even stated that all manufacturers and makers of rife say no to rife during pregnancy.

I did see some alternative ideas for treating Lyme & Co during pregnancy.

Dr. J, the top Lyme pediatrician, has a protocol for women with Lyme. It can be followed with your own doctor.

I don't know about Babesiosis and pregnancy specifically. I sent you his office phone # to ask for more information.

Thank you hopingandpraying. I directed Lexi's mom here from our support group. I didn't even think about Dr J and his protocols.

In our state/area finding someone to follow his work will be difficult. But miracles happen every day.

What trimester are you in?

Have you been evaluated for other tick-borne diseases such as Lyme, Bartonella, Anaplasmosis etc.? This is very important. Many people diagnosed with a tick-borne disease have multiple diseases.

I don't know if you are aware that tick-borne diseases, including Babesia, can be transmitted through pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is important to be properly evaluated and treated as soon as possible.

Dr. B. mentions Lyme and pregnancy in his treatment guidelines on page 21-22 at http://www.lymenet.org/BurrGuide200810.pdf Antibiotic choices and doses, including recommendations for pregnancy, are listed on pages 18-19.

I am glad someone sent you Dr. J's info. This is a great place to start.
