do people find out they have the Bartonella co infection just by doing the standard igenex Western blot because I was curious which antibody listed on that test is specific to barts, would I need to run a separate panel to figure that out?

It's a standard test for bartonella, not Lyme.
Igenex is best, but even it could come back with a false negative.
