I'm trying to take olive leaf extract for an assortment of reasons, but don't want to do it if it kills lyme systemically, and not just in the gut.

Does anyone know if Stephen Buhner has an opinion about this somewhere on the internet that I can read?

Thanks,
GVS

I have all his books. As I recall, he considers OLE as one of many agents / herbs that is more helpful as an anti-viral support & not really specific to address lyme. That's pretty much how I've used it all these years on and off, not so much for lyme but for anti-viral action.

I don't think he even really outlines it in his first lyme book and maybe not in the second edition of that, either.

More on it in his book on Anti-Virals.

Whether on his own website, his very own posts on Facebook or what he's written in his books, it's best to read his own words since I cannot be specific or recall entirely his own words.

His books are amazing not just in the herbs they profile but first, in how he describes the action of viruses, bacteria, etc. He really explains so much about how they work and what we can do to offset their action.

Though very reasonably prices, still, it took me a long time to afford them all. Some lyme support groups - or maybe even the library interlibrary loan system might have them for you.

Google Books, as well, might be able to show you a particular page or two on the web if you cross search for terms.

You might also be able to see a few excerpts on Amazon with the "See Inside This Book" feature if that is "on" for his books.
