I just had an OAT test done (an oxalate thing) and I have high markers that suggest I have SIBO. I looked up the symptoms and I have none of them.

A few years ago I did that breath test for SIBO at the GI doctor and it came back negative. I assume these are accurate. Maybe I should go back and have it repeated.

Anyway could I still have SIBO without any symptoms?

Doubt it. I think people with SIBO get a positive result on the breath test.

I wonder which test (glucose or lactulose) my doctor used. Interesting that you can get false positives.

I should probably go back to the GI and see if I can get a SIBO retest since it has been 2 or 3 years since my last test.

The SIBO test will motivate me to go back in there for another colonoscopy script which I failed to do last time I was in there.
