I am considering this and wanted to know if others have tried it. Doctor is using your own stem cells so no risk of reaction.

Did you meant stem cells for treatment of lyme or stem cells to regenerate a joint?
I asked a similar question here and didn't get an answer.
In my case it would be for bone on bone hip joint. I'm seeing Mayo about this later in month. They say they can't do if you have a chronic infection.
I don't want to mention chronic lyme to Mayo. My primary care doesn't believe in chronic lyme. Recently tested for ehrlichia and borrelia and was of course negative.
I don't even want to run this by my LLMD in case she'll say no. I just so want to avoid hip replacement.
When I tested positive by DNA Connexions for borellia, babesia and bartonella a while back, LLMD said she didn't have a lot of credence in that test because after a deep tissue massage it forces it out of joints, into blood and shows up in urine. (I did the test on my own and brought results to her.)
Much before that, she said if I ever had a hip replacement I should ask for a sample from the hip area tested for those bacteria That was before I ever thought of stem cell treatment.
So I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion of whether it's dangerous to do stem cell if bacteria are lurking in joint.
I think the reason Mayo doesn't do if a chronic infection is because your immune system is down.
My primary care MD has declared me healthy! lol

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. I am struggling now with so many symptoms and took Monolaurin a week ago which almost did me in. I was considering this but no one got back to me. Are you okay? So tired of dealing with this every day.

As far as I know, there is no documented published research which states stem cells treatment cures Lyme.
Kelly Osborn, from Fashion Police tv show (Ozzy' daughter) claims in her book "Bite Me" that she went to Germany for stem cell treatment and was cured after a 10 year battle with chronic Lyme.
Yet Yolanda Hadid writes in her book "Believe Me" that she had stem cell treatment in Mexico, Bahamas, and South Korea and still remained sick.
Lyme disease loves to eat fibrin, tendons, collegen, and muscle and causes wide-spread Inflamation.
Stem cells treatment has helped many Lyme patients by reducing Inflamation and growing new structures destroyed by the Lyme infection. This much we know.
My LLMD quoted me 4,000 per treatment. My Orthopedic doctor quoted 10,000, due to the fact it's done as out-patient in the hospital under mild anesthesia.
IMO, I think more than 1 treatment would be needed.
Mayo Clinic doesn't believe in chronic Lyme so according to them, you don't have an infection. But why you would want to go to Mayo, who are hostile (many complaints) to Lyme patients might need further exploring. Many clinics offer this service now. Research Research. Research.

I'd be glad to have Mayo believe I don't have Lyme. Then they would be willing to do stem cell treatment on my hip.
I know what you mean about Mayo though. I have a friend who they only made her condition worse. It was for a cerebral spinal leak.
There are not many here where I am that do orthopedic stem cell treatment. Im only going for a consult so far.
I'm just hoping that it's not contraindicated if one has lyme.

There is a doctor not too far away from me that does the transplant from your own cells I will look into this and update you.

Not without protecting those stem cells from "bystander attack." (The inflammatory cytokines do a number on them.)
