Hello, everyone! After my latest doctor's appointment, we discussed going on the Buhner's protocol for Mycoplasma. Since I don't have the book, I wouldn't know if he recommends certain brands. Does anyone have any recommendations for the following herbs:

-Cordyceps (tincture)

-Chinese skullcap (tincture)

-Isatis (tincture)

- Houttugnia (tincture)

-Sida Acura (Tincture)

-N. acetylcycteine

-Vitamin E

-Olive Oil

My myco infection hasn't improved much, so I hope this coupled with Bryon White's A-Myco Complex does the job. Does anyone have experience with Buhner's protocol? If so, what should i expect?

Thank you in advance!

You mention combining two different protocols. I would not advise doing that for various reasons.

Can you get the particular Buhner book? It's really important to read all his has written on this topic before you start. Likely the book is less than even one or two supplements would be.

If anyone shares detail, some things can get lost in translation and there really is no way any poster can share all his writes.

His website has some good detail, yet, still to accompany the book, and for certain updates but not to replace the book.

If you have to put off starting the herbs for a month so that you can get the book, it's still a wise way to prepare. Information he includes for all his tick-borne disease topics is very specific and so expansive.

Hope you can obtain it. I would not imagine how to proceed without it. I learned so much about how all the various infections work and things mentioned that have served me very well. The background is key to understanding how to approach all the stages.

You ask about using olive oil. I would not. Its really caustic to the mouth, esophagus and possibly even the stomach to use it in the manner in which I think you are asking, as a supplement.

Using it in food, great - if (and only if) you can research the brand and know exactly from where it comes, how they gather, crush and bottle it, etc.

Many bottles of olive oil on the market are not at all what they claim on the label.

Bionaturae is one brand that I've studied and am confident about. Still, there is no way I could take that alone. It has to be in with my food. And, sure, that can have benefits but I'm just not sure that's what you had in mind.

Buhner does discuss Olive Leaf Extract, briefly, in his anti-viral book yet does not put much emphasis in that in his other books.
