I have lost my information about the FIR sauna that I used years ago.

I would like to start using it again. I searched this site to find what temperature and how long to stay in the sauna, but didn't see specifics.

I would appreciate feedback to get started again. I will get bentonite, and have some charcoal. Is there anything else I should know?

Thank you

hi,

I started out with 20 minutes per session with plenty of water before, during and after. Added 5 minutes every session to work up to 40-45 minutes.

I put my smart water in the freezer along with hint water and they stay nice and cold while I'm drinking them in the sauna.

Also dry brush your body before and after. Then work up to coming out of sauna every 20 minutes brushing your body.

Just make sure you're hydrated before, during and after and take it slow. If the heat is too much you can always open the door or come out for a minute.

Good luck! Infrared sauna worked for me with my toxin level along with charcoal 2 pills/2X day.

Take it slowly with dry skin brushing. I have always been sensitive to dry skin brushing because it moves so many toxins. I have double MTHFR so even without the Lyme anymore, I have to be careful of it. I'm a believer in it especially since it has made me feel bad since that shows it's doing a lot. I couldn't do it more than once or twice a week.

Sauna caused me no problems and gave me great benefit. I did them daily when I was sick.

After breaking a sweat, my doc suggested I shower off warm and cool a couple times.
