Hi group
Have had Lyme over 27 years. Was just diagnosed as positive about 5 months ago. We all know protocol...
Went to my NY LLMD and started antibiotics. Luckily I found LLMD in Florida and the two are working together.

Now have developed a UTI. In all of my prior treatments over the past 27 years, I have had yeast infections, but not UTI. Now taking three antibiotics and going for an MRI with contrast on Thursday. Feel like my insides and brain going to implode!!
Any ideas friends?
Thanks so much!!!

Quick search on Lymenet shows bladder issues are common. Lyme and company love the bladder. Here's the latest post;

This website is by a Dr who has had Lyme and IC bladder and explains in great detail her treatments and testing methods;
https://liveutifree.com/uti-antibiotics/

Also for chronic IC bladder;
https://liveutifree.com/interstitial-cystitis-treatment/

The pain can be unbearable so I feel sorry for you.
It will go away with treatment so plow through as best you can.
I go for weekly catheter installations of antibiotic and lidocaine which provides relief. Pain killers can be your best friend.

Good luck on your MRI. Let's us know how it comes out. I didn't have MRI but had ultra sound and cystoscopy which showed widespread Inflamation.
