Does anyone have thoughts on taking curcumin now? It was recommended to me, but I read that it might be best not to take it before the flu. I’m a little confused and think I should hold off to be safe.

I think it will HELP with a possible Cytokine storm, which is very dangerous.
I take it three times a day and will not stop, that is for sure.

Is that the same as turmeric. Is it good for paresthesia and numbness.

many positive effects and taken daily by millions of people around the world for decades at a time with no known adverse effects. it is also specific for reducing one of the key inflammatory chemicals produced in Lyme - MMP-9 i think ( but don't quote me - its from memory)

Turmeric/curcumin is wonderful! It has so many applications for our health. I take turmeric powder, which has everything in it, not just curcumin. It takes down joint and muscle pain for me. I get it in bulk at the health food store and dip 00-size empty capsules in it, one in the am and pm.

yep, I also take it as turmeric powder - several grams a day mixed into a paste with oil.
if you google golden paste you will find a recipe that mixes it with coconut oil to aid absorption.

Because there are so many brands that claim absorbency on a molecule that is know to be difficult to absorb, what are some of the brands people have had noticeable differnces with curcumin preferably without peperine. Thanks
