I'm engaged right now and although I'm open to adoption, I know that there is a possibility that I will get pregnant. How do I go about finding a lyme-literate OBGYN?

I've had Lyme since August 2006 and it's in remission now. I'm currently not doing anything for Lyme other than eating healthy and exercising regularly. But I'm sure it's still in my body and that it could potentially pass to a baby.

I used to see an LLMD in Connecticut, but now I live in New Jersey and I'm just at a loss right now about where to start seeking out doctors.

(breaking up the post for easier reading for many here)

HI peper8

I know of no OBGYN LLMD's in New Jersey.

But I'm pretty sure if you contact Dr J. in Connecticut, his office manager will be able to help you.

Sending you a p.m.

Congratulations on your engagement! Got a date set yet?

Bonnie's suggestion is great! You can also try asking other LLMD's on the list for DOCTOR REFERRALS (menu to your left) at www.MarylandLyme.org

Some may be closer to your area and some may be found out of state that could be open for a Skype or phone consult.

Hope that helps!
