I know of zero gurus in that area. But I did a search and there are a few Functional medicine docs in Paducah KY.

Have them call and see if they can help. I have one name for Evansville IN and also a Functional med doc.

This person needs a neurologist who is comfortable with a Lyme diagnosis. Any names anywhere? This is in addition to an llmd.

We understand your dilemma.

A LLMD will be trained in the Neurological aspect of Tick Borne Infections. There is NO shortcut in getting around the Mainstream Medical System to treat Lyme Disease. Many have tried, it is just not possible. The ONLY way to recover from Lyme is a specialist in Tick Borne Infections that is ILADS trained. You can treat herbally, or by antibitotics, of by alternative means, but Lyme Literate Medical Doctor's must be specifically trained to know every aspect of the human body that this DEVESTATING disease affects.

I'm so sorry to tell you you. . . Neurologist's will not treat you for Lyme unless you test positive on a primative and out-dated
western blot Lyme blood test ( latest research shows this test can miss up yo 70% of Lyme patient!). You can show every symptom of Lyme, barely able to stand, tremors, unbearable pain, unable to talk or think, they will not help.

Plus you live in a state that is SO far behind in recognizing the epidemic nature of this disease. They are very hostile towards ANY doctor that treats beyond the CDC guidelines. I have NO listings of ANY LLMD in your state. You can follow through with Global Lyme Alliance link that I provided to you. They will find a LLMD closest to you. Good luck to you.
