I'm looking for and LLMD near me. I know almost all of them don't take insurance, but if someone knows someone who accepts Amerihealth Caritas (welfare) that'd be great. Even if I can't convince insurance to cover it, it'll be worth the shot. I have soo many debilitating symptoms I can't work or really do anything myself. Yesterday I called an ambulance because of the severity of my symptoms (mainly my heart being weird.)

Lyme disease affects every inch of the human body, it is truly a horrific disease. Mainstream medicine has failed us. You must become your own health care advocate and fight to get your health.
There is a message box where you can explain you are looking for a LLMD who takes state insurance. They are hard to find though.
There are a few good LLMD's very close to you, under an hour drive. Get your finances in order, your 1st visit will be the most expensive. Start a folder with everything medical in it. All blood and urine work ups, procedures, tests, medical providers seen, symptoms, meds. This can save you money. Most LLMD's diagnosis clinically(symptoms at visit) and through evidence provided.
Ask friends, family, church members, put up flyers requesting donations, have fund raiser or benefit to raise funds. Lyme is expensive to treat and you will need help. It is worth it because you can get better. You must start treatment to get your life back. Good luck.
