I am looking for a Lyme-literate ND or MD in or near New Jersey with a high success-rate who treats with natural treatments versus mainstream antibiotics. I am seeing a good one now in NJ but I feel like she is not everything I'm looking for.

I'm not making progress and when I mention words like 'cytokines' to her or mast cell activation, histamine or inflammatory reactions or the other weird things a lymie can go through who has extreme trouble with herxing/detoxing, I get looked at with a blank stare and am just told to keep pushing through. I need to talk to an LLMD or ND who treats naturally who UNDERSTANDS cytokine storms and all these strange things that we can go through during treatment that may need to be considered/managed.

I see articles online where Dr's versed in Lyme are discussing issues that can happen to our bodies through treatment & detoxing that need supplementation to help control them...but when I ask about these possibilities I get a blank stare.

You can request a LLMD through ILADS but you have to log-in into their website;

https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

You can request a LLMD through global Lyme Alliance here;

https://globallymealliance.org/education-awareness/find-medical-professional/

You can contact the Ticked Off Foundation for LLND's here;

https://www.tickedofffoundation.org/contact-us/

These are simple e-mail formats. There is a message box where you can write that you are seeking a LLND for a more holistic approach. Hope this helps.

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/NewJerseyLyme/info

Maybe they can help. They would know better about NJ.
