I'm looking for an excellent dentist to would look for bacterias in my mouth. Preferably in California (Los Angeles even better). One that I have heard of is William Nordquist in San Diego http://lymebook.com/nordquist/the-stealth-killer/oral-spirochetes-similar-to-syphilis-and-lyme-disease/

I suppose you can give the name/city because they are not MDs, but feel free to pm me if you prefer that.

Anybody have tried the services of such dentists? Positive and negative feedbacks would be appreciated.

Just wondering... why are you concerned about oral spirochetes? Are you having any dental problems, or just worried about Band 41?

Because for decades I've felt there is something wrong in my mouth. Everytime I dont eat or brush my teeth for a few hours, my gums feel "fuzzy" and my breath deteriorates. It really feels like there are bad bugs in my oral cavity.

Dr H in Redwood City wrote in the book Insights into Lyme disease Treatment - 13 LL HealthCare Practitioners Share their Healing Strategies that oral bacterias have to be adressed before Lyme treatment can be successful.

Oral yeast will give those symptoms too.

Re: Lyme in mouth:
There is an artical from July 2009 Public Health Alert Newsletter. I believe dentist interviewed was from CA

How can one treat oral yeast and oral bacterias/spirochetes?

I was thinking yeast too... the fuzzy gave it away.

Teeter Creek Herbs has anti-fungal drops. Pretty good stuff.

Google it.

CAN'T KILL BACTERIA THAT ARE NORMAL FLORA
IN THE MOUTH
diflucan, vfend will kill yeast.
mouth is dirtiest part of the body.
i was i dentist for 25 years ,and i would know
thats why no vaccines work int he mouth because if you kill the normal flora you won't be able to digest food and nasty bacteria will take over along with yeast.

onbam, did you read his book? did you get an appointment with him? Do you know how he treats those oral spirochetes?

stymielymie, can you substantiate your claims? Surely there are ways to kill bacterias in the mouth and if required replace the good ones before the bad ones settles back in

i didn't, but I spoke to his receptionist to just ask if they had found out anything new.

The book looks useful.

I might go see him. I think may people carry oral infections without knowning, and they have been clearly linked to heart disease and other problems. This is likely even more of a concern for us. I just want to know how he detects/treats before to avoid loosing my time/money.

I am new here, but interesting that you are talking about this. I just had a tooth pulled and am having a hell of a time getting the socket to heal. Been to a dentist already about it. Seems to be infected and/or inflamed around still, even though he irrigated it and put clove in it.

There was also a bad taste in my mouth. I have wondered if Lyme can get in there and cause problems with healing. also my teeth are so sensitive. But this might just be due to whiteners.

How does one go about putting the good bacteria back in the mouth? And is clove a good thing to use regularly to kill yeast and other stuff in the mouth?
