Hi,

I was just curious to get some feedback. I have been on IV rocephin since july, making huge gains. My doc also paired the IV treatment with flagyl. (Flagyl was the first oral antibiotic that really started to help me.) Just recently switched to biaxin. (I had a horrible experience with zithromax back in Feb. and March.) I am afraid that the biaxin will stir up the same reactions.... Any idea why this is?? I dont want to go back to those horrible days...

Hey B...

No one can say for sure if you will do well on a certain medication. Sorry about that. BUT...

If it helps, I do well on Zith and not on Biaxin. So you can see it can be different for each person.

You do need to watch for yeast problems and perhaps take a read through this material. Hopefully, this will help.

Oh, and one more thing. Good advise too. (Yes, my arm will probably break while I am patting myself on the back, but...)

You can take the meds and worry.

You can take the meds and not worry.

I am absolutely 1,000% positive that the worry added onto your antibiotic treatment protocol will not make things better for you.

One more thing then I am going to bed!

Having a relapse or feeling worse while on meds that should be making you feel better can be the most depressing thing that you will experience.

DO NOT LET DEPRESSION GET TO YOU!

You can get better. OK?

Night!
