I went to see my integrative GP this week and she asked me for a recommendation for a good book that she can read to learn about Lyme Disease.

This book came to mind. "Insights into Lyme Disease Treatment".

I would appreciate your thoughts about recommending this book or any others that you might think would be good.

She also asked me if I knew of any LLMD's that take insurance in the NY tri state area for a patient of hers. If any of you know of one can you please PM me.

Much thanks.

Your suggestion seems right on target.

Great to hear that she wants to learn more. She might want to look over this links set as there are many articles and books here, all by either LL NDs or integrative LLMDs.

While she may not have time to look over all of this, at least having the link provides her some reference points.

How to find an ILADS-educated LL:

N.D. (Naturopathic Doctor);

L.Ac. (Acupuncturist);

D.Ay. (Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine);

D.O.M. (Doctor of Oriental Medicine);

Integrative / Holistic M.D., etc.

Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:

Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;

knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.

You can compare and contrast many approaches.

BASIC HERBAL EDUCATIONAL & SAFETY links,

BODY WORK links with safety tailored to lyme patients,

LOW HEAT INFRARED SAUNA detail,

BIONIC 880 (& PE-1) links, and

RIFE links.

Cure Unknown (may be good to know the whole controversy).

I recommend "The Lyme Disease Solution." It is written for the layman, so some lyme docs tell their patients to read it.
