Glad she wants to help, just wish it could be in some other way.
Before anyone hip hip hoorays the Global Lyme Alliance....
Please take a look for yourself at the people involved on their Boards, and who are receiving YOUR donations (and often double-dipping with your tax dollars) in the form of grants, and/or are involved with research publications that seriously hurt rather than help us.
Some infamous names you may recognise (and should get to know)... (the * next to a name indicates they are IDSA Lyme Guideline authors and/or homes to the IDSDA guideline authors)....
Linden Hu- author of studies that were designed to support IDSA's reason to limit antibiotic treatment, the IDSA guidelines and "THE studies" that support insurers denials, and other nasty things.
Marconi- Vaccine Guru in Virginia- been publishing on Lyme related vaccines since 1992 (almost 30 years and what do we have?)- publishes with Tom Mather, *Dumler, Linden Hu (from above), etc.
Adrian Marques- Buddies and publishes with *Wormser, *Steere, *Klempner, *Krause, Barbour, Phil Baker, *Shapiro, *Dumler, *Naddleman, *Halperin, *IDSA, CDC and other such monsters
Utpal Pal- publishes with Adrain Marques (above) and her buddies.

Of course this is only my opinion and I express it because I get sick when I see you are being used and your money is being used to feed the monsters.
Especially when the monsters already have big pocket books and don't need our donations to support their garbage.

It can be tricky finding who is the recipient of the funds they are gathering and finding who is producing the "studies" they fund.
Hoping this makes sense cause I am dragging today, but this is my quote from above.... (Notice please that it says Boards- meaning plural and not just the one you shared- and it says grants and publications from GLA money.)

At that link, which is just an example of what I am trying to point out, there are research articles listed that were produced from the grants GLA is distributing.
Below is a small sampling of the authors they chose to fund. May be more, but I quickly pulled 5 articles listing Wormser as an author for example from the GLA grant publications.
You'll also see Steere, Dattwyler, Auwaerter, Klempner, Marque and Aucott's name too. ALL of the names I listed in the post above I got directly from the GLA website.

I keep wishing that one of the rich folks with Lyme will pay to get Under Our Skin 1 and 2 back on Netflix or Hulu. If not a rich celeb, why are ILADS or others not able to get this done?
