The long-awaited Tick-Borne Disease Working Group’s report is out. Lots of us sent statements about our cases and/or worked as advisors to be considered by the group. We made our voices heard and and one appointee was removed as not being suitable for the group. Here are some links for two good articles from Pittsburgh and Minnesota: https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2018/11/14/exploding-tick-population-and-illnesses-they-bring-worries-government/ http://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2018/11/task-force-spotlights-us-tick-borne-disease-cases-set-records And the statement from the Dept. of Health and Human Resources, followed by a pdf of the actual report.https://www.hhs.gov/about/news/2018/11/14/tick-borne-disease-working-group-calls-more-resources.html https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/tbdwg-report-to-congress-2018.pdf
