Happy Sunday. Are you ready for Earth Day on Wednesday? Hope the weather is nice where you are so you can get outside.

Tell us about your exercise for the week. Are you walking, picking up sticks in the yard, planting grass or flowers? Are you sewing, doing laundry, or vacuuming? All this and more counts on this encouraging thread.

Hope you have a great week! (and I pray we all stay safe from Covid19)

Today the extent of my exercise was doing a load of laundry and filling my bird feeders.

I made some chicken salad with chicken, grapes, celery and green olives.(and olive oil mayonnaise)

I did my usual Sunday call with my mom. Since she is "locked down" in the retirement center our conversations are longer and more frequent.

I did watch the church service from the National Cathedral this morning. Wonderful message and music.

Hiker, I'm laughing because I just posted to start off this week and saw your thread pop up too!

Great minds think alike!

Today I just made Asian coleslaw and an apple salad. Josh is coming for our usual Sunday dinner so we'll have egg rolls, brown/cauliflower rice and the Asian slaw.

After my marathon yard work yesterday I'm going to try and take it a bit easy today!

See you all later!

I went to Kroger this morning and got quite a bit of meat to freeze. I was looking also for gluten-free oatmeal but could not find any.

I did my shoulder exercises and then I did my balance exercises and finally I did my knee exercises. I decided to skip the walk today.

I was able to get out and see the kit foxes and their parents that have a den next-door to me. There are 7 to 8 cubs and I watched them for about 30 minutes. Great fun.

I think I will grill hamburgers tonight and have a tossed salad. Have a good evening.

Took it easy today and just made an easy lunch and dinner for me and my Mom.

Hiker your fox watching sounds exciting! I love to see animals in their natural habitat. Way to go on your therapy!

Googling to try and find solutions to extend the top of our chain link fence to keep the neighbour's pitties out of our yard.

See you guys tomorrow!

I worked on my Bible study this morning.

Went to physical therapy this afternoon. Knee still really bothering me. Sigh.

AK--Hope you find a solution for to keep the pit bulls out of your yard!

Have spent time reading today. Needed a quiet day--which is funny since every day is a pretty quiet day these days. [Big Grin]

Today I washed my car and Mom's. Hosed the pollen off the front porch. Washed and changed my bedding. And to top off my day I'm mixing a strong brush/tree killer to spray through the fence next to my neighbor's yard.

I found some goat panels on the internet that might possibly work to extend our fence. Cheaper too than the other options I've been looking at.

Hiker sure hope you get some relief for the knee! Been trying to find something I can download to my Kindle from our local library. I have a bad habit of having to read before bed. Been doing it for years!

Well time to get the mail and water some plants!

It is a gorgeous day here with temperatures about 70 and I’m sitting on my back porch.

I did my shoulder exercises today and then I did my knee exercises.

I really needed a chiropractic adjustment so I put on my mask and braved it. I have an arthritic toe that gets jammed and the chiropractor is the only one that can pull it out without a problem. Plus I needed some work on my back.

So I am going to relax for the rest of the day to let the adjustment hold.

I didn't go to work today as I had a chiropractor appointment scheduled. It was rescheduled due to the chiropractor being overwhelmed, working alone and spacing patients out so everyone is social distancing.

It was 37 degrees this morning and windy today. We did have beautiful sunshine. It did warm up some but we still wore our coats to go outside.

I washed a load of table cloths and hung them out to dry with extra wash pins to keep them on the lines. One tried leaving, it still had the 2 pins on one corner.

Gabbed with 3 friends today on the phone.

Hi everyone! Took my Mom to her PT appointment then picked up a few groceries.

Visited Josh today to watch the Star Trek series Picard and to try out his new exercise bike. Rode 30 minutes and I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow.

Hiker sounds like a perfect day!

Manna gabbing counts as exercise! LOL!

Night all!

I have my Bible study via zoom this morning.

I did my balance exercises this afternoon.

I whip stitched in some nylon hose in my face mask after I read a study that the nylon protects better from droplets and helps the mask fit tighter. Although in the study they
have the nylon going over the mask and over most of the face.

I listened to our governor as he extended our stay at home until May 30 with a few exceptions. I guess retail stores can now open up for pick up and delivery only starting a May 1.

Some state parks will be able to open up and some hospitals will be able to go back to having elective procedures if they meet certain criteria. I know downstate Illinois not happy as they want more opened up but it is what it is.

Rained almost all day so the plans that Mom and I had to pick up her RX and some groceries were nixed.

So I was a slug today and worked on one of my puzzles.

Hiker down here in GA we're opening up nail salons, gyms and a few other places. I'm still going to practice stay at home orders for awhile until our state count goes down.

Great idea about the masks!

See everyone tomorrow!

Rainy day today so a good day to stay inside.

I did some cooking this morning. My usual meatloaf which will last me for at least four meals and can be frozen.

I did my shoulder exercises.

I went to physical therapy clinic for my knee.

I have a stye on my left eyelid so I spent a lot of time today with a warm wet compress on it. That means I cannot wear my glasses and cannot see the TV or read at the same time. Hopefully this will clear up quickly.

Off to fix dinner.

A rainy day here too. I love the sounds of the raindrops pattering on the porch roof. It sounds so comforting.

A day of cutting and sewing masks. Have one batch of 25 completely ready to sell. Have another batch ready to iron and then add the elastic & top stitch.

Also have a bunch of the outsides and the linings ready to sew together. And then there are some that are cut out but not sewed yet.

Hubby has been cutting the elastic pieces for me and sewing the white elastic & top stitching in white thread. My sewing machine has black thread for the dark colors & black elastic.

Supposed to be sunny tomorrow, so we started putting a few loads through the washer tonight and they'll be ready to hang out first thing in the morning.

Hi all! Took my Mom to pick up her RX and shopped a bit at the PX.

Changed my headlight bulb, knocked some corrosion off my battery and sprayed brush killer along the fence line.

Can mark those things off my to do list!

See everyone tomorrow!

Very rainy day today. It hasn’t stopped raining for a second. I am thankful that my sump pump is working because it so rarely turns on. I have lived here for 30 years and I can count on my hands how many times it’s turned on. And it’s working today.

I did my knee exercises and my balance exercises today.

I did one load of laundry and a little bit of cooking.

I worked some on my Bible study and I will spend this evening probably watching a movie and reading.

Bought four more puzzles today. My Mom is coating the smaller 300 piece puzzles with Mod Podge so I can use them as place mats one day. On the back I put the month and year and that it's my Covid 19 stay at home project.

Since we're having clear days for awhile I went to my local hardware store and bought 20 bags of topsoil. They were heavy so I had to use my garbage can with wheels to haul them to various places in the front lawn.

Spread them out and Mom came out for a bit to help me stomp it into the ground. So we both got a workout!

Hiker you're doing so good with your therapy! I really need to get back to doing mine for my SI joint, neck and pelvic prolapse.

Well....time to relax!
