You can make up to $40,000 a couple and get free zithromax from Pfizer. I think, if you are single, it's like $27,000.

Here ya go... this site's for you!

The ducks interpretation of Lyme has been challenged by those who research it, diagnose it, treat it, and live with it, and they don't have, in my opinion, a plausible alternative explanation as to what is going on.

So they can kiss my grits....

A HUGE thank you to Moonbeam!

Like many of you- I am on a limited budget. No income at the present time and living on student loans.

$$$ only goes so far when dealing with pricey meds as you know.

I had my doc contact Roche pharmacuticals and it took awile due to incomplete paperwork, but...once the kinks were worked out...they generously donated 2 months of Rocephin at no cost!

They were very nice and easy to work with.

So, don't give up- there is always an alternative!

Thank you Roche and thank you Moonbeam!

A very grateful,
Melanie

I tried this some time back and the problem involved getting a physician who is willing to prescribe.

That would be an LLMD, and they do not take low-income patients (I'm homeless).

Also, I was diagnosed w/Lymes 6/14/02 (EM rash). 3-weeks of dox/amox did not stop symptoms (infection).

So I tried Dr. "B"'s protocol of 30 days 2X standard dose of cefuroxime ( a low-income doc was willing to prescribe that) in September of 2002--appx. 2-3 months after tick bite.

That should have been early enough in disease, and it followed LLMD protocol.

Since I still have (worsening) symptoms 2-1/2 years later, and doubt is cast on NIH statement that IV ceftriaxone brings full recovery in most Lyme patients, what confidence is there further abx. would bring recovery if able to obtain (which doesn't appear likely)?
