The Harford County Lyme Disease Support Group is planning on getting a bus for transportation to Annapolis..A fee will be required to defray the cost.GREAT NEWS. A GENEROUS LYME SUPPORTER AND FAMILY HAVE SPONSORED THE BUS..

It will leave (Northern Harford County) Highland Presbyterian Church,in Street,Md between 10 and 10:30.( Just a short drive off of Rt.136 and Rt.165) The bill is to be introduced sometime after 1pm..We will stay thru it's introduction and testimonials.
Bring lunch and snacks.It may be a long day but the harbor and shopping are very close.

Please join us.. Marylanders with lyme disease or their families and Dr's may give presentations,(but check out Tincup's info for the proceedures required to present) but anyone can rally for support..We are all in this together..

Contact me for info.or email jglyme@aol.com

Important stuff ^
You get one state to get on board, and the rest could fall like domino's.

This is VERY important.

We need YOU to come to Annapolis to help us get this bill rocking and rolling.

We now have a good looking bill just waiting to provide patients with long term care, insurance coverage.. and to protect the Maryland doctors who treat us...

Assuming we find some! HA!

NP is right...

Just cause a bill hasn't made it in other areas... doesn't mean some little old place like Maryland won't get one through.

But we need YOU to show your support. PLEASE!

Once ONE state does it..

Then it should be easier for the others.

Thanks for helping us help everyone.

THANK GOODNESS!!!

Up for the morning crew.

If you are following this post(and I pray you are) and missed the addition to my first note, here's an update: WE NOW HAVE A GENEROUS LYME SUPPORTER AND FAMILY, SPONSORING THE BUS..

The family always helps our support group and they are soooooooo helpful to everyone for this kind gesture. Bless you guys!!!!!Maybe it will permit more to attend...

It should be an interesting day and if we are delayed, remember it is close to the harbor, dining and shopping...There may be a room available for us during any extended waits..

And if you want to join us, please email me or contact our support group leader at jglyme@aol.com

We are in this together, join us for this effort!!! Anyone from PA or NY or other states are welcome too!!!!lymemomtooo

I grew up in Annapolis but live in N.C. now - sure wished the bus would come pick me up - if I didn't have something going on that day I would make a point to drive up...

Thank goodness for Cheryl and her Lyme Info site. What a blessing she is to us all!

She will be putting even more information at one site for us all to use... as soon as I get it to her!

I will try to get it done by Saturday night... if I am able.

Please check this site and see what the details are.. and how YOU can help.

Thanks Cheryl.. and thanks to you all.

LMT,

thanks for telling me what the title was. So it's basically about the NY & Penn. bills about NOT prosecuting the LLMD who have chosen to treat our long term lyme disease with antibiotics.

I heard there will be singing on the bus!!!

A SPECIAL song...

Dedicated to the leader of the Harford County Support Group!!!

Yep!

I heard the idiot ducks and insurance representatives at the hearing wanted this song to be sung to the person in Harford County who has been giving them such a hard time all these years!

THEY DID SO TELL ME THAT!

They said to make SURE this song is sung to you as you are heading home from the hearing...

The song is by Roy Clark...

Now....

EVERYBODY....

Sing....

I've made a small fortune and you've squandered it all,

You shamed me til I feel about one inch tall,

But I thought I loved you and I hoped you would change,

So I gritted my teeth and I didn't complain.

``````
Now you come to me with a simple goodbye,
You tell me you're leavin', but you don't tell me why,
Now we're here at the station and you're getting on,
And all I can think of is...
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone,
I didn't know how much longer I could go on,
Watching you take the respect out of me,
Watching you make a total wreck out of me,
That big diesel motor is playing my song...
Oh, Thank God and Greyhound you're gone,
The load on my mind got lighter when you got on,
That shiny old bus is a beautiful sight,
With the black smoke rolling up a round the tail lights,
It may sound kinda cruel, but I've been silent too long,
