Yes, I've lost my billfold twice....Sorry, just kidding. The real answer is "no" so far, but it is touch-and-go each day. I'm waiting for the day when my boss calls me into a 4 hour meeting and I start muttering gibberish and pass out... IP: Logged |

I stopped working when I had my son.I tried to go back but I just couldn't - both physically and emotionally. I now realize that partly it had to do with Lyme - that is why I was so tired, sick, in pain, anxious, etc. I don't think I could go back now even if I wanted. Too stressful for me. I feel so bad most days that I'd be fired for taking too many days off. My brain doesn't work right and I have no memory. Some days I can't even drive - and I definitely cannot drive at night do to my bad night vision. Heck, I don't think I'd be able to be competent long enough for the interview.... So, I am missing at least $2k a month for not being able to go back to work. IP: Logged |

Well I have only seen 4 "no" answers so far. I would think that it would be virtually impossible to have Lyme and not have it affect your income. I responded "no" but the truth is that I've gone from a "top performer" to a "barely hanging on". Although I have not lost or quit my job, my performance due to Lyme will definately affect my long-term earning potential. IP: Logged |
