Hi Everyone,

Can we get a recommendation on a good facility to have a Spect scan done?

How much is the cost? Will Insurance cover any of it?

Thank you.

I heard UCLA Uses the good Picker Prism machines.

I'm not sure if this is the right link as they don't mention SPECT on their website. I would call and ask. They may not mention it on the website since it's not as common of a test.

Hi Skater,

Which machine is the one to use? Have you had one done?

What was your experience?

Thanks...

I live in LA and went up to San Francisco to get my spect scan done. It's one thing to find a good machine, but it's another to find someone lyme literate that operates it

Yes I agree with terminator...if he knows of someone who knows how to read a spect scan for lyme that is the important part.. ask him jeffrey who that is...the Amen clinic in Newport Beach does work on the brain with spects but don't know if they are lyme literate. You can send them to Columbia I think to be read.
