I am having severe joint pain in my hip and knee joints to where I can hardly walk or get up out of a chair. I also have severe jerking when I just go to sleep? Could this be the Levaquin. I just started it 10 days ago. Thanks!

Yes I had this and stopped for 2 weeks , then resumed at 1/2 dose . This was OK for about a week when the pain with restless legs returned. I then discontinued it.
I understand this drug can cause tendon damage. (permanent).

I would also contact. Levaquin can cause spontaneous tendon rupture. Even though it's helpful, that's not something you need to add to your medical issues!!

I got tendonitis in my left heel while taking levaquin. It took me a year to resolve. I still have some small flare ups now and then.
I would not mess around with this drug. Taking magnesium helps. I used Solaray brand magnesium chelate amino acid supplements to help get over it. They carry it at Whole Foods.
