I'm currentlly on IV Rocephin and oral Azithromycin. I was thinking about experimenting with Babs treatment since it is what I attribute all my symptoms to.

Can you mix Art with Rocephin and Azith? What milligram should I take? And where can you get it?

Dont know about mixing it. But Artemisinin alone did wonders for my head symptoms. Stayed on it for 8 months at 300mgs. a day, then went down to 100mgs. a day without return of that symptom.

Doctors Best makes it.
Good luck!

Don't know. Google toovey artemisinin toxicology, though. Be aware that there are some concerns about brain toxicity.

Well, I'm on a lot of antibiotics, and my LLMD has little concern about mixing Art in.

Minocycline, Azithromycin, Bactrim DS, and Rifampin.. was on Flagyl with all of that plus Art as well.

hey nybball... my doctor has me on 600 mg of artemisinin daily. I've been on it for like 10 weeks and haven't noticed any changes in symptoms. So i guess the answer is yes you can mix bc we're on the same treatment. I dunno where you can get it though (i get it from my doctor's office)...I'm sure you can find it somewhere online

Artemisinin is only effective when taken with grapefruit juice. Read some of the Dr. K. protocols that I have posted.

One is here http://www.klinghardtacademy.com/images/stories/powerpoints/autism%20protocol%2009.pdf?chakra_shop=091fbfd82767a7016c134abeaf0114a2 - approx. page 110, etc. Symptoms are on pages before that.

I really like the cocktail with the artemisinin and phospholipids in it. The whole makes a good drink and avoids a lot of capsules. Take cocktail separately from minerals. Beginning of day or late eve. whatever feels best.

Take care.

I can no longer tolerate grapefruit juice and Artemisin is still effective......meaning I am herxing on it.

If not taken with grapefruit juice it has to be be stopped after 21 days for a one week break otherwise a resistance develops.

I took artemesinin on an empty stomach. I never took it with grapefruit juice. It worked wonderfully for me.

I took it when I would have a babs flare. It reduced the flare to practically nothing the very first time I took it. The flare always came on Friday evening, so I took the first dose of art on Friday morning. It delayed the flare until Saturday and it was very minimal--nothing compared to the totally horrible flares I had been suffering. That's how quickly it worked.

However, I was taking Bactrim DS to kill babs at the time. I don't know what would happen taking art as a sole treatment for babs. Never did that.

I never herxed from it.
