What antibiotic is factiv combined with? Also, is it good in treating Lyme disease? thanks!

Factive is not used to treat Lyme. It is for bartonella and/or mycoplasma. Can be combined with rifampin. Most docs would probably try levaquin first -- it is much cheaper than factive. Many docs pulse factive -- different schedules -- some use 5 days on and 5 days off etc. Tindamax is often used on the days not on factive. Bea Seibert
