Knew I had Lyme back in 1988' diagnosed in 2002. I remember in the in h early 90s had white things growing in my tonsils (gross) and throat was always on fire. That went on for mos, white things growing in tonsils for years. Could i be missing something other than Lyme or could Lyme do this?

The white things in your tonsils are called Tonsil Stones (tonsilloliths). I used to get them all the time. They are apparently very common, and there is a lot of info about them on the web.
I also used to have a chronic sore throat. With Lyme treatment and a change in my diet (I had developed food sensitivities), both have disappeared.
My guess is they are more common in people who have chronic illness from infections, but that is only a guess. The thing is, many healthy people get them too, so who knows.
"Tonsilloliths are formed when this trapped debris combines and hardens, or calcifies. This tends to occur most often in people who suffer from chronic inflammation in their tonsils or repeated bouts of tonsillitis.[3] They are often associated with post-nasal drip. "
I have definitely had chronic post nasal drip for years, and constant congestion, etc. These are common symptoms for people with Lyme, as is chronic recurring sinusitis.
