I ordered this product recently but didn't think about the effects that enzymes from edible fungi, such as aspergillus would have on our systems. Does anyone know if this would be okay to take for biofilms?
This is what it says about the product:

In general, provided you're not allergic to any of the components themselves, they are safe. These are specifically extracted enzymes so its not quite the same as being exposed to the entire body of the source material. For instance, I've spoken to those who claim to be soy sensitive and have no problems taking nattokinase, which is derived from fermented soybeans. Of course everyone is different, so as always be careful when introducing something new to a patient.
I'm not familiar where in the "scale" serrazimes fits compared to more studied biofilm/fibrin busters of which lumbrokinase and Rechts-Regulat seem to have the most powerful and wide-spectrum of action.

My doctor has me taking Serrazimes for biofilms. So far, no reaction, good or bad.

Thank you, blackstone, for that really informative answer.. You really clarified that for me. The doctor did mention lumbrokinase and I will be looking into that next.. thanks
garunner, it's good to hear that you are taking this as well with no bad side effects. I think it takes a few months for this to actually have some positive effects.

I have taken Serrazimes. I am currently taking Nattokinase and Zyactinase. For me, it seems to go in cycles here and there, which ones to use, but they all have been pretty good. I think the best one initially was Zyactinase.
