I tend to have 1 really big bowel movement or 2 good sized bowel movements a day. I take fiber supplements to help me

Is that enough bowel movements? I was wondering how many everyone else on here has and how do you keep yourself going? I know its VERY important for detox

3-4, generally. Lyme has not affected this for me.

In the year before treatment started, I was a 3-4+ kind of guy.

Since starting treatment I'm a 1-2 with an occasional 3. Much more "regular" now.

Oh I see. I'm mostly asking in terms of detoxing purposes. I know its important to have bowel movements to help move the toxins out. I was wondering if theres a certain number of bowel movements you should have a day to make sure your getting the toxins out best.

I find that drinking mangosteen juice can really help move the bowels - it also helps with eye symptoms, sinus symptoms, bleeding gums - all that stops happening.

If you try it, drink a lot of water also.

When I was healthy I had one 'clean' dark brown 'pebbled' bowel movement a day, meaning I would barely soil the toilet paper. And I'd have it within an hour of awakening.

Now that I'm ill I can have anywhere from one to four, only now my bowel movements are generally yellow, orange, light brown, or even gray-green in color, and they range in consistency from soft and skinny to flaky and cheesy to eggy-smelling diarrhea to even greasy.

Occasionally I'll skip a day completely or go much later in the day or my stools will harden up some...usually when we're having a geomagnetic storm, as crazy as it sounds. In fact, I can predict when we're about to have one by this slow-down in bowel activity...which I consider an improvement since I feel best when my stools are hard.

Sorry for all the explicit details, but GI symptoms are ongoing with me. Apparently GI issues go hand in hand with seizure disorders, which I also have...maybe why I can 'feel' geomagnetic and solar storms???

I'm just a regular guy. 3 to 4 times a day. Usually 3 times before I leave for work, then one in the afternoon.

Funny thing is I often feel much less symptomatic after an afternoon BM.

I used to have 3-4 in the early AM with quite a lot of "urgency." It was a royal P.I.T.A. (literally.)

Every time I had to travel for work in the early AM by car, I kept having to pull over. It wasn't normal at all.

Now..things are better / more regular.

Told you. I'm a regular guy. But I get up at 6 and don't have to leave the house until just about 9.

bdb1200 - much like you were. Early morning with urgency. PITA for sure.

I've gotten to the point that I keep a roll of TP in the car just in case.
