Hi Everyone:

We are suspending the Tindamax from our daughters protocol, at least for a week. Itching (inside skin) with occasional bumps, no hives.

She was (still is) on Mepron / Zith for Babs - completing month 9.

Tindamax was added in month 4 (2 consecutive days, weekly, 250mg) upped to 3 consecutive days 500mg in month 8. It was right after the increase she started to slowly develop the itching. Its now become unbearable.

Has anyone else had this type of reaction?

It may not be the Tindamax but we've been cutting things out for the past 3 weeks.

Thanks in advance for advice.

I don't know. It sounds like an allergy though. You should just check with your doc on this one.

Tindamax can be hard on anyone let alone a youngster.

Good luck.

Thanks Lymeor and onbam:

Its been hectic but it doesn't appear to be the tindamax as she has now been off for 12+ days and itching is still there. We've tried other stuff as well.

I'm now figuring its die off (herxing), yeast, low mag, or bart (hopefully not this as she hasn't really shown the symptoms of Bart, she has Lyme and Babs).

Thanks again.

I've had a few times recently where I've had an itching like you describe. Kind of like under the skin, and you can't scratch it no matter how hard you scratch the skin. One time on my foot and several times on my arms.

I've been on Tindamax for a long time, but I really didn't think it was related...interesting.

HI Resolved:

We thought it was the tindamax but now realize it is something else. Still trying to figure out what it is by ruling out what it is not.
