Where does Cefdinir fall? My LLMD wouldn't give me Ceftin.

My LLNP says Ceftin does not affect TBD's at all.
But having said this, I don't know if I trust my LLNP any longer.
Cefdinir is the generic for Omnicef.

I don't know about that our LLMD said that Ceftin is good against Lyme and Bart... I know my daughter did very well on Ceftin and she is dealing with bart as well.

I guarantee Ceftin/Cefuroxime works well against Lyme. All of my LLMDs have used it and I have herxed very hard on it...even with monotherapy.
Burascanno and Wentraub both cured themselves with Ceftin, so it's effective...as for comparing with Omnicef, not sure but current LLMD is a veteran and prefers Omnicef and I did notice I could use way less probiotics with Omnicef. Ceftin is an instant yeast infection.

Agree w/ Wolfed Out...had no issues w/ yeast until I started Ceftin, but willing to stick w/ it if is is that effective. It is the only drug though that I taste (yuck!) when taking. I am treating both bart and lyme w/ Ceftin, Flagyl and Rifampin.
