I attended a Lyme Convention lastnight that said sometimes when patients dont find the Tick it can still be in your skin.

If it still in your skin can it prevent you from getting better?

Does it eventually leave on its own?

Or will the antibiotics kill it?

If it is in your skin, it would feed for a period of a few days and then detach. They don't stay on forever.

Wont stay in forever and if it did it would get huge and you would see it. If you broke the tick off partially in the skin, your body would push it out. it may get infected but it would be noticed

I don't know about that. For the longest time I had a spot on my leg that I had no idea what it was. Right before I started to get sick I noticed it. It was like a raised bump of some sort ,and it looked kind of dark in the middle. I tried to mess with it several times, but nothing would happen. It would just hurt a little if I tried to pick at it.

Initially I thought maybe it was like an ingrown hair or something, but it wouldn't change. Then I got really sick and kind of forgot about it. Of course I did mention it to some of the stupid doctors that I saw before my LLMD, they all basically ignored it.

Now it's almost gone. I can still see almost like a scar there, but it's not dark or really raised. I never saw a tick or had a rash, but deep down I have a weird suspicion that that is where it got me. If I'm right, it never left or fell off; maybe it was just absorbed. yuk!!!!
