I am trying to rule out anything thats not Lyme but am having a hard time. Can anyone tell me if any of the symptoms I am having right now are Lyme or not..

migraines

uti's esp after sex, burning when i pee sometimes regardless if i had sex or not

stiff neck

muscle and joint pain that gets better with sleep

fatigue

excessive sleeping 14 hrs+ a night

facial redness, used to have acne but cleared it with accutane

irregular periods

vulvodynia- but it seems more like a skin condition causing this, dont know what..feels like it is red and raw there, and dry... esp. after sex. sometimes get little "cuts" after sex. tested neg. for yeast from pap smear

gas and bloating that feels "trapped" at times in abdomen

bone pain

nausea and vomiting sometimes dont know if this the antibiotics...im taking biaxin and plaquenil

brain fog, short term memory, problems multitasking

Im going to take some herbs to see if my symptoms clear up, but wondered if too many herbs are actually bad. Im thinking about taking these, its alot:

L-glutamine- help leaky gut that i might have

Sacchoromyces Boulardi-probiotic to take

Alpha Lipoic Acid- rec'd by Dr. Burrascano

L-Glutathione- forgot what this ones for..geez

Oregano Oil- ward off yeast, if i have it?

D-Mannose- help with UTI's

Cordyceps- for energy

Reishi- for immune support

NT factor- think this is for energy

Hydrochloric acid w/ pepsin- to possibly help gut issues, but not sure if this is ok to take since Lyme likes an "acid environment"

monolaurin- immune support

cats claw- anti-viral, i tested pos. for hhv-6

milk thistle- going to take after i do parasite and metal detox for liver support

Nattokinase- helps with cyst forms of Lyme I think

I dont know doses of any of these for Lyme so if anyone knows... and if there is any order i should take these in id liek to know. any other suggestions please let me know. thanks

All of the above. Sounds like you do have IC .. mine got way better with Lyme treatment.

If you're on abx, I would personally skip the cat's claw. But that's up to you.

Are you on a regular probiotic also??

natto helps with fibrinogen.. which many lyme patients have due to hypercoagulation. It will also help with inflammation.

PS.. some of your symptoms sound like babesia

All of those symptoms can be caused by Lyme and/or coinfections.

I got UTI's all the time until I started drinking cranberry juice at least once a week...Knudsen's makes one with no sugar added (but needs Stevia or something, cuz it's really bitter/sour), or you can get the cranberry capsules at a health food store...

If bladder pain is caused by the cranberry (I think IC would be the cause in this case), you can use unsweetened blueberry juice instead...

Yeah they are all symptoms of Lyme but they are symptoms of tons of other things as well, i would suggest making sure you are fully evaluated by a DOCTOR before you start pumping yourself up with random herbs and vitamins you read about on these boards. At least if you are trying the LD treatment to see if it works, be under the care of an LLMD while taking all those things.

Just my two cents!
