Hello!

I been fighting Lyme and Co. for four years now. My symptoms finally seem to be improving, except for this non-stop pain and pressure in my teeth, nose, jaw, and temples.

I have tried many different abx, and nothing so far has eased the pain in my face. It was the first symptom I ever had. It has progressively gotten worse, even when my other symptoms are getting better.

Right now I am taking biaxin, plaquenil, and bactrim. They're doing a great job with my joint and muscle pain, but they are not easing any symptoms from the neck up.

Has anyone had any luck with a particular abx or combination of abx that helped decrease face/ head/ tooth pain?

I have also tried a dozen different anti-seizure meds that are supposed to ease nerve pain (neurontin, lyrica, elavil, baclofen), and they haven't helped.

I would appreciate ANY suggestions!! This pain is driving me crazy [loco]

Thank you!

Flagyl is excellent in fighting anaerobic bacteria (infection caused by bacteria (called anaerobes) which cannot grow in the presence of oxygen.)

If the infection is in the gum-lines, or in the tooth socket this drug may help you.

I'm not sure if it's the bacteria causing the pain but for any dental pain I have always been given penicillin or erythromycin..

Four years! This is my worst symptom and I can't imagine having it for four years. Let me know if anything works for you!
