I couldn't agree more that cleansing heavy metals is one of the keys.

However there may be times when it can be contra-indicated:

If there is leaky gut syndrome, this could be at best very risky. The body will be enormously more exposed and vulnerable to toxicity during leaky gut. Further, the bile becomes toxic in leaky gut, according to Dr Leo Galland, and this can lead to diabetes, gallbladder and liver cancer, etc. Add toxic metals to this mix which is already over-burdening the liver and you have got the picture! Oy. www.healthy.net/scr/Article.asp?Id=425

If there is blood-brain barrier integrity break-down, the last hting you want or need is heavy metals to be circulating in your brain and creating auto-immune responses in it. Oy.

As long as detoxification pathways are fully healthy, if gut and brain barriers are healthily intact, etc then heavy metal detoxing is (I agree) *extremely* important to do, especially for nerve and immune health! Read more here:

Gigi, I am with you 100% This is one of my favorite subjects too and I too am passionate about it. Brava!!

Hope all is well and happy, CI

PS the above is not a guarantee of get-well or anything else. Individual responses vary with each person, and the Titanic ship could not be sunk. You get the point....THis is not for curing, diagnosing or treating any disease.

I am not a doctor.

Cane, don't think I have ever done one. I think my protocol was such that I prevented results that would make a coffee enema necessary. Take part of the Lyme cocktail or at least parts of it - that holds the secrets. Phospholipids is one of the major factors. Of course, if you are allergic to soy as most are, all bets are off, because soy frequencies are just about hidden anywhere moving system into a stress mode every time to touch them.

Take care.

Gigi,

What is the "Lyme Cocktail"?

I don't think I've heard of that before.

Thanks
Maryam

All really great info. I just have to add that this may not be a problem for everyone, though.

I had leaky gut tests & mercury tests & they came out low - to my surprise. Some people do get worse or have no improvement by removing their silver amalgams. What they replace the silver amalgams with may be toxic in different ways, too.

Just something to consider. What effects one person, may not effect everyone. I'm sure it's best to clean up any heavy metal issues but it may not be everyone's main factor for being ill.
