I recently got the results of my Western Blot (through LabCorp) and I am positive for bands 23 and 41, though the nurse in my PC's office told me I was negative for Lyme.
I have yet to pick up the copy of the results - I don't know if they are IgG/IgM.
I have been symptomatic for 7 years, diagnosed w/Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
I have been bitten before by ticks, have spent a lot of time hiking in the mountains of Virginia and my dog is positive for Lyme.
What is the likelihood I have Lyme? I understand I don't fit the CDC's criteria, but I also understand that band 23 is Lyme specific.
I am going to make an appointment with a LLMD, but I am impatient and so eager for more information.

I was positive for 23 IGG and 23 IGM and told by my PCP I didn't have lyme. Went to see a LLMD in the area and guess what? I have lyme! He said there was no need to order another WB from Igenex since 23 was specific.
I just recently started tx last Thursday.

I was positive for bands 23 and 41 IGM through labcorp. This is considered IGM CDC positive. When testing through labcorp, you only need 2 out of 3 band on the IGM side to be CDC positive.
The thing to remember is that Lyme is actually a "clinical" diagnosis.

Thanks for your replies. I found out I'm positive for these bands:
IgG 41 and IgM 23
I have an appointment this week with a LLMD.
I have so much anxiety around the appt because I have spent the last 7 years describing my long list of symptoms to Drs and getting that puzzled look from them.
I know this will be different but still I'm anxious that I won't be helped, like in the past.
I guess from what I've read, my positive bands along with years of symptoms point to Lyme.
I'm still in shock over this, yet haven't even gotten the official diagnosis from a Dr. The waiting is driving me nuts...
