Saw a few posts that some insurance cos. find babesia a life threatening illness. I have a positive test from MDL. I also have Anthem BC of CA. Has anyone had any luck with getting IV coverage for babesia instead of lyme? Any advice?

You better have a positive blood smear to get anything. Igenex's FISH test isn't acceptable either to conventional places. They believe it's a hoax I think. Antibody tests mean squat for most regular docs/insurance.
Even after all that Babesia is very easy to cure with oral drugs - usually 1-3 weeks max of Mepron/Zith or Clindamycin/Quinine. You do know for most it doesn't even cause symptoms, right? LMAO. If you still have your spleen and are not immunocompromised, it's benign.
NOTE, I'm speaking from the non-LLMD perspective.
