BCBS paid my IGenex bill in full, all $905. This came about by my PCP writing he felt it was necessary, because their lab (or labs)came back neg., but I will had symptoms of Lyme.
I was totally shocked when I got the check, esp. because it took 2-3 mos. So, I had written it off and never thought they would pay it all (I had the coinfections test for my state - NJ).

Igenex told me they accept just medicaid. and they told me today that i have to give a credit card or to send a check .I have done labs with them one time long ago but like to do it again with them or with lab that is good for lyme or at least for coinfections and accepts BCBS.

I may not have been clear. I paid the bill up front, too. BCBS reimbursed me. It's worth asking your PCP to write a letter. What's there to lose? Just a suggestion.
