I had the same thing a few years ago( 2005) ; I thought I was having a stroke.
After extensive testing they found Cervical stenosis in my neck. I had surgery for a disc. (C5/6) .
No more numbness !

Looking back I think "a good" Chiropractor may have been able to remedy the problem.

This was one of my first symptoms. It recently lessened with abx but my dr just switched meds and it's coming back.

It's much worse at night. Very frustrating. I'm jealous of jenn [Smile] I take mag supplements and it hasn't helped!

Are you taking flagyl? It can cause the tingling and numbness you're describing...

Let your doctor know.

Tindamax can cause or aggravate neuropathy. You should take a B complex supplement and B6 supplement with it to help prevent this side effect.

Numbness and tingling can also be caused by nerve impingement. A good chiropractor might be able to help if this is the cause.

That was also one of my first symptoms which has waxed and waned over the years. Exercise and pt helped significantly. Looking for areas of nerve compression and inflammation... heating and icing inflamed muscles. Recently neuropathy has worsened for me... but has improved with Metanx tablets... and b12 injections... i am an a slew of supplements..so other things might be helping also..

Who thinks this is Bartonella? With the nerve issues and the 'tuning fork' feeling and weakness. These are normally neurological/nervous system issues. And Bart. loves those nerves!

I have all these also, along with internal vibrating which I swear is all Bart.

Numbness in my left arm was one of my first symptoms & 13 months into treatment it seems to be one of the hardest to get rid of. I'm 90-95%.

My numbness is also accompanied some times with joint pain. My doc recommends inducing a false fever since the bacteria does not like high temperatures. I use a heating pad every night on my left arm & that seems to help.

I also notice improvement when I do regular yoga. However, yoga also can cause a lot of electricity to flow through my left arm. It's the strangest sensation.

Left arm and left leg for me. Very bizarre. Pic line and 11 months of orals got rid of it completely. Now do nothing - for a while took magnesium. Remember - its an infections. It can cause just about ANY bizarre symptom.
