I stopped all meds back in November and felt pretty darn good until this week. I'm still not certain that is is a "Lyme" thing or not but it's feeling more like it each day. I'm just playing it one day at a time and hoping that I'm just extra tired or achy from some activity.

Soooo.... the question is how common is it to say feel "normal" again for six months or so and then all the sudden start getting symptomatic again?

Thanks!
Kim

Oh, yeah. I'm just getting over a relapse after 2 months. Two abx finally brought it under control.

Call you LLMD and get pm abx pronto!

Sadly, probably not that uncommon. Dr B cured himself by just going back on abx each time it happened. Finally got all the boogers!

Did you have babesia too??

[hi] HI TN Kim!

Hi Tn Kim. I have wondered about you from time to time, especially when we make the trip up to see Dr. K.

Why don't you send him an e-mail and see what he recommends. I would think that I would want to get back on abx before things get out of control.

Also, could you have been re-infected? Ticks are bad around here this year.

symptoms since 1993 that I can remember. 9/2018 diagnosed with Borellia, Babesia Duncani, and Bartonella Hensalae thru DNA Connections.

Thanks, everyone and "hello" again! [Wink] I'm still not totally convinced it is Lyme ... guess I am in "denial"

... but I have been having quite a bit of muscle twitches and little pains and aches ....

*sigh* .... ok, maybe it does sound "Lymish"... lol. I don't know!

I guess I am waiting to feel worse before I am convinced! I will most certainly contact Dr. K

if I do determine it's Lyme and Co. again! In answer to one question ... Dr. K and I felt that

I also had Bart .... and as far as being re-infected, I have killed tons of ticks from my pets

and also IN MY HOUSE but because of that, I have been terrifed of be re-infected and check myself

closely all the time! So... I don't think I've gotten another bite!

Good to see you all again, wish it were for better reasons though! [Wink]

Kim

Is there a way to know for sure if it's a relapse?

If I started back on abx and herxed then I would assume that meant I was "sick" again, soooo...

if I didn't herx and had no symptoms, would that mean that I wasn't?

I've never really "herxed" from treatment, and I've had this for years (I have testing to document my illness.)

If I was well, and then symptoms came back, though, I'd treat it as a relapse regardless of what the tests said or whether or not I herxed.
