So..my wife noticed that I seem to have more "moles" than usual. I have irish skin, and therefore have always had a lot of moles to begin with (on my back, etc).
But..I've noticed a lot more brown spots over the past few weeks. They look like moles or large freckles..except they are flat / flush with the skin..not raised like a mole.
Could these be Bart? I've read brown spots could be Bart. Does anyone have photos of Bart brown spots?

In my experience, flat brown flecks are Bart. Look for little red raised blood blistery looking things too.

It could be hyperpigmentation. I got flat brown spots on my legs and feet while I was on minocycline. They continued to spread and multiply over several months. My regular doctors had no idea what it was but my LLMD did and he had me go off mino right away. It took several years but the spots eventually went away.
I was told they don't know for sure what the outcome could be when one has that kind of response to mino. I don't know what other drugs could cause this but there could be others. I would call my LLMD's office and report it immediately.

I have those too. I noticed them first on my chest, thighs and then the underside of my arms last summer (I was diagnosed w/ lyme/bart a couple months later).
I went to two different dermatologists and had two biopsies (one on my leg and another on my arm) w/ 2 different skin conditions neither that I believe is accurate.
I absolutely believe they are connected to the lyme/bart. Someone on this site mentioned maybe it has to do w/ candida overgrowth/digestion. No one knows in my case, but I also questioned heavy metal toxicity (from info I have read online).
I would be interested in knowing if you get a diagnosis.

They go away with parasite treatment, even many of the moles.

Have Lyme & Babesia - took multiple ABX for 3+ yrs and weaned 6 mths ago. I woke up today with brown rash covering my legs, like freckles but some are raised and some beneath the skin. Had another tick bite 3 days ago and Dr gave me a one dose 500mg Azithromycin. Also started acupuncture therapy and went off of sugar a week ago. Best guess on cause? Cures?

I have the flat brown spots or (Liver Spots) all over my body too.
It started on the top of my hands and now is on my back, legs and torso.
Mine started when I was on Zith for Lyme. However I've been off ABX for 2 years and they have gotten more and more so it's not the Zithromax.
My accupuncturist told me it's from fungal infection in my small intestine. But I'm not sure, it could be that or Lyme or it could just be from inflamation in our bodies. We probably need to deal with the inflamation and need more anti-oxidants.
I like Anna would be really interested if anyone is successful in getting rid of these!

Mine are almost gone. Moles dried out, still some brown spreckles. You can try iodine on the spots.

LymeGreene, you only took one dose of zith for a recent bite??!! That's not enough!
kareni, what parasite treatment have you been doing that worked for this? I've done plenty in the past, but it never got rid of moles.

Would love to know what treatment you used, also did you do Iodine too?
Also the brown spots could be due to Adrenal weakness, I think Addison's Disease. I googled it and it had pictures of brown spots all over this person's torso!
I know my adrenals are really bad, so that could be it.

Yes, it could very well be bartonella. They are pea size brown spots. I had them all over my arms and even my face - wherever I got any sun. I also had loss of pigment so my skin looked splotchy. This year they are gone. You are too young to have "age spots". I am 64 so it would be reasonable to think my spots were age related but I now have an even tan.
