My LLNP contacted someone (not sure who) to get some advice for me regarding the possibility of pregnancy.

She told me this dr. said he only treats the last trimester of pregnancy. Has anyone ever heard of this????

I told her that I have consistently heard that women are treated throughout pregnancy and many insist on the need for 2 abx.

She is going to try and contact Dr. H in NY. If anyone has been treated by him during pregnancy or knows his typical recommendations could you please respond or send me a pm?

I am very much on the fence so just doing research before making decisions. Thank you in advance!

What my llmd told me is that doc j thinks high dose omnicef and zith are best and doc b thinks bicillin zith are best.

I started on zith and omnicef before getting pregnant (by surprise) so I just stayed on them but then at around 3 months I went to Bicillin and zith because the omnicef was giving me a lot of lower digestive issues.

But here I am 35 weeks on sat and my baby looks to be healthy. we wont know if she has lyme until I send out the placenta etc for testing.

it has been a very very hard road but almost done!

Has anyone who was feeling great but labs were not yet perfect been pregnant and not used such strong ABX and had a healthy baby?

Someone I know is considering having a baby but not quite sure how strong a treatment to take to keep the baby safe.
