I used to be on here all the time but actually started to feel better for a while...I've recently relapsed after moving from Florida to Massachusetts and the winter did me in. Can't seem to get back on track since.
The joint pain is back, but I have always had a cough that is worse again as well. I am wondering...Is a dry cough associated with Bartonella?
I have had this cough for as long as I can remember...It isn't an allergy, I don't smoke, it isn't asthma (tried an inhaler, nothing happens), and the cough gets worse as I get more tired. It feels like bronchitis in that I have a tickle and a need to cough. It isn't a productive cough, though sometimes if I am really tired there is that deep "horn sound" (if that makes sense).
I was diagnosed with Babesia, Bartonella, and Lyme. I treated for a while but had to stop because I had to go back to work...long story. My Babesia is gone, but Bart and Lyme are not. This cough seems to be getting worse...
Any insights? Thank you...
I hope everyone is having as a great a day possible:)

Babesia and Bartonella live largely in the lungs. Inhaled potassium iodide may be a helpful treatment for some under the care of a doctor. Some patients have the "lung worm" (varestrongylus klapowi) which may be one of the most common parasites in Lyme disease.
Dr. K. treats it with multiple antiparasics that are very effective. Look up my post on the Babuschka principle. If you can't seem to get out from under, treat parasites.

As you know lyme is the culprit that shutdown our immunity and then all zillion bacteria ,viruses and parasites that normally are in check bay our immunity become hostile to our body.
So to make long story short I think that symptom can be caused bye : lyme ,bartonella, mycoplasma ,chlamydia ,lung parasite,CMV,HHV.
I know I,m not helping you at all its the natyre off this disease that makes it hard for all of us to know for sure what is cousing what .
But start treating all of them take lauricidin it covers viruses and some bacteria ,take doxycycline it covers lyme and mycoplazma and chlamydia .
And try to modulate your immune system thats the key.Sun exposing helps a ton also iodine water of sea, exercise and other therapies that some people get that are prety expensive like Bionic, stam cell.
Take care

Have any of you heard anything about Dr. D in Boston? I haven't been under a doctor's care in a long time...Used to go to Dr. S in Naples, Fl.
It's time to treat again...

page 26 of Burrascano Guidelines lists "dry cough without apparent reason" as a babesiosis symptom.

GiGi,
I'm very interested in the inhaled potassium iodide that Dr K recommends (I was just reading one of the his pdf's)
Are there instructions anywhere?
I've seen nebulizers and how they're used... but didn't know if there was a protocol for how many drops, getting it into the nebulizer, etc
I can't find this on the web either. Need to find someone who's done it.
Canef, nebulize 3 ml sodium chloride with one drop of SSKI Potassium Iodide. No other. It's best to test to start very slow. It is very effective ACROSS THE BOARD.
Many suffer from Lungworm (varestrongylus klapowi) as a side appearance of Lyme. Has many symptoms from breathing difficulty, asthma, throat, swallowing, coughing, and higher. Don't underestimate it. It is very treatable with Dr. K. protocol I had posted but eliminated by moderator. You do need to treat it if you have the problem.
Take care.

Is there any truth to the following...
Nebulized Iodine
In some countries nebulizers are given to people by prescription only because they give a person direct access to the bloodstream and this is an indication that this is serious medicine we are dealing with, so caution is advised. With nebulizers we in part get the same effect as with injections, medications quickly diffuse directly into the blood stream. Thus a nebulizer holds the capacity to save lives.
When it comes to using iodine in a nebulizer special caution is needed. The choice of iodine is important because putting in potassium, which is found in Lugols, is dangerous. Potassium chloride, another salt of potassium, is used for lethal injection so I recommend only Nascent Iodine. Nebulization with iodine offers an extremely strong therapy which can clear the lungs quite rapidly of infections.
